You know your way around a palette, but you want to experiment a little in a groovy studio with a creative vibe...Step this way...into TUESDAY Paint Club. Each block will follow a cohesive theme; made up of some theory, a look at different artists, followed by the practical work of painting...From Oils to Acrylic, to Watercolour and Ink - this is the place to explore and experiment with mediums, styles, subject and technique. There will be some suggested (optional!) homework ideas too if you'd like to continue develop at home. 2026 >**FULL** Block 7 [BLACK CANVAS] September 29th, October 6th, 13th & 20th Acrylics on Canvas Free choice of subject matter! The twist is we are painting almost 'in reverse' - starting with a black canvas...this block should be an interesting experiment in tone & depth. Half Term >Block 8 [ANIMALS] November 10th, 17th, 24th & December 1st Watercolour Birds, dogs, horses (if you are brave enough!), pet portraits, lions, snakes, butterflies...they all count. Go big with a close up or silhouette far away outlines. It's all within bounds of play, so you can suit this block to your taste and style. Just in time to gift for Christmas too!
