What To Expect

Summer Holidays: Tues 29th & Weds 30th July (2 day course) 10 am - 4 pm both days (12 hours tuition in total) Suggested Age: 12 - 15 yrs Join us at Wills’s Whims Art Studio for a 2-day painting course; aimed at learning how to paint a realistic looking sky . Led by resident tutor, Kelly, this holiday class is pitched at anyone looking to paint skies with true depth. Suitable for Beginner/Entry Level... Kelly will guide you throughout the process. We will all be working on easels with each student having their own 'station'. Day one focuses on planning, composition, colour, technique and first layers. Day two, we will move on to the trickier stuff - building bolder layers onto the canvas. Working up in various mixed media to create depth and soul to skies. You'll need to bring your brave self for this Workshop (but Kelly will be there to hold your hand!). But it will be WORTH IT! Set in our pretty, rural studio, alongside other Creative folk in Brownings Farm Workshops. The Wills's Whims studio has a friendly, relaxed atmosphere, to allow creativity to thrive. All materials included, included final canvas painting .Maximum of 5 students: really allowing tutor time with each participant. Class will run even if not full. 10% sibling discount available (please email Kelly for online code). Please bring a packed lunch. Water will be freely available all day.
