Summer: Charcoal Workshop
5th August | 10am-3.30pm
What To Expect
Weds 5th August | 10am-3.30pm | Learn to work with charcoal. Whether you are new to this versatile medium, or if it's tested favourite; I have a feeling everyone will be on a learning curve here. We'll be creating some awesome Antique-looking artwork, using simply canvas paper and charcoal (oh, perhaps there are a few steps in between!) You can choose your subject matter - a pet, portrait, landscape or object; it's entirely up to you...or choose from a selection Kelly will have prepared. I'm afraid charcoal gets everywhere - on your hands, face, shoes and shirt, so be prepared to embrace being messy. This will be a busy day too, so make sure you've had a good night's sleep, ready to bring your A-Game. A fun introduction to charcoal for all abilities including beginners. Set in our pretty, rural studio, alongside other Creative folk in Brownings Farm Workshops. The Wills's Whims studio has a friendly, relaxed atmosphere: to allow creativity to thrive. All materials included. Each student will work on an easel, with their own 'station'. Maximum of 4 students: really allowing tutor time with each participant. Class will run even if not full. Please bring a packed lunch (nut free) NB The Cowshed Café is closed on Wednesdays! [Water will be freely available all day.] Cover artwork courtesy of previous WW Workshops
