What To Expect

August 13th, 10am-4pm Suggested Age: 11-15yrs ANIME is back, with a new twist: looking at elevating our BACKGROUNDS as well as our character. As well as the usual SAJI nibs and ink work (don't worry if you haven't tried this yet - I will explain!) we shall look at the effect of colour and texture in making your hero POP. Plus, I'll be sharing plenty of tips & tricks on the tools you can use to create top notch illustrations. This one is going to get messy, so don't wear your best clothes. Learn about layering, transferring images and getting that cool ANIME illustration vibe.... Make a morphed monster from your imagination, or use one of ours as a guide, bash two creatures together or simply bring your favourite character to emulate... It's totally up to you. We will spend the morning drawing, and in the afternoon add the detail, with layers and layers of work - to create a final piece of Anime Artwork. Obviously, we will talk about Anime shows all day too, whilst listening to Lo-Fi. Bring your best geek self please. All materials provided. Small class sizes (max. 5) Final Artwork will be beautifully mounted and packaged ready to place on the shelf. Please bring a packed lunch (nut free).
