What To Expect

Not Suitable for Beginners! You're pretty sure you know what you're doing, and you're buoyed up to experiment a bit now...Step this way...into my Thursday Drawing Club: Afternoons (1.30-4pm), and sign up for a block of 4 classes to practise, practise, practise! This is the class to come if you're not afraid of making mistakes, want to try something new, and you'd like to push yourself a little bit further...oh! and you must be able to laugh when it all goes hideously wrong :) Each week we will spend a short time discussing theory and look at different artists, followed by the practical work...There will be some suggested (optional!) homework ideas if you'd like to explore and practice in a cafe or at home - instead of watching the TV! Example topics we will cover: Further Shade & Tone -- Colour -- Perspective -- Architecture -- Portrait -- Life Drawing -- Landscapes -- Illustration -- Doodles -- Grapheme Illustration -- Animals -- Water -- Pen & Ink If the weather is nice, we may even pack up and head outside into the Brownings Farm Garden and wider site to work En Plein Air. Available to book as a block of 4 classes only - work may roll over from one week to the next.
