What To Expect

FULL Sat 12th December 2026 | 10am - 3.30pm We will start by some guided, warm up exercises - waking our brains to the power of observation! Then you may chose to work from life or from a reference image, to create a small, detailed pen & ink illustration in Black & White. With a few tricks up her sleeve, Kelly can show you some hacks to elevate the work of even the novice artist...so you'll leave with a drawing to be proud of. Small classes mean you'll get plenty of one to one attention during the day, and help whenever needed. In the madness of our busy lives, this will be a few hours of calm. The serene atmosphere of the Will's Whims studio, will bring you a welcome, slower paced day. Switch off your phones, forget the list of jobs yet 'to-do' and enjoy the simple pleasure of drawing. Please bring a packed lunch - or food is available from our neighbour: The Cowshed Café. All materials supplied. Leave with your own beautifully mounted & packaged illustration (A4).
