What To Expect

Sat 24th October | 1 Day Workshop | 10am-4pm Adult Class (16 yrs+) OK, we all know portraits are hard. However, with Kelly's help, they aren't quite as tough as you think.. It's all about LOOKING! We'll start with the real basics, and a few rule-of-thumbs to give you a foundation method you can use time and again. Plus, she's got some tips to help you get a good likeness (so you don't make your husband look like Shrek) and we can zhuzh things up a with clever use of tone. You've got this...guaranteed to get a good night's sleep after this class - drawing is exhausting! Included in the course are all materials [paper, pencil & charcoal] so you don't need to bring anything! Small class sizes of no more than 5. Each artist will work on an easel. Class will run even if not full. Please bring a packed lunch (nut free). Water, Tea & Coffee will be freely available all day. Lunches and fancy coffees are also available from The Cowshed Cafe.
