You know your way around a palette, but you want to experiment a little in a groovy studio with a creative vibe...Step this way...into TUESDAY Paint Club. Each block will follow a cohesive theme; made up of some theory, a look at different artists, followed by the practical work of painting...From Oils to Acrylic, to Watercolour and Ink - this is the place to explore and experiment with mediums, styles, subject and technique. There will be some suggested (optional!) homework ideas too if you'd like to continue develop at home. 2027 > Block 1 [FREE CHOICE] Jan 12th, 19th, 26th & Feb 2nd Whatever Medium you Want on Whatever Surface you Want! Watercolour & Inks Inspired by the work of Debby K-L at the 2026 WW Summer Student Exhibition - an abstracted market scene, with personalised shopfronts, sploshy inky splatters and beautifully abstracted buildings. > Block 3 [PORTRAITS] Apr 6th, 13th, 20th & 27th. Oils on Canvas This is always a popular class! Working from big shapes to finer detail, lean to fat and really really LEANING into the lights and shadows. Corr. Don't mind if I do. My favourite block of the year :) > Block 4 [PUDDLES] May 4th, 11th, 18th & 25th Acrylic on Canvas Reflections people...from muddy country lanes to urban rainy nights, this block will be all about echoing the above and the below. As always, we will be slaves to the light. > Block 5 [THE MOON} Jun 8th, 15th, 22nd & 29th Mixed Media on canvas An homage to the night sky and our constant bright companion. I'm leaving this theme up to your interpretation - big and canvas filling, or merely a shimmering light reflected on water.
