What To Expect

February Half Term: 17th & 18th (2 day course) 10 am - 4 pm both days (12 hours tuition in total) Suggested Age: 11 - 15 yrs Join us at Wills’s Whims Art Studio for a 2-day oil painting course; crammed with the tips and techniques every Oil Painter needs to know. Led by resident tutor, Kelly, this holiday class is aimed at true Beginner/Entry Level... Kelly will guide you through the process from composition and sketching to working up oils. Day one focuses on materials, composition & underpainting. Day two will focus on a final canvas painting of your chosen subject, with further study of techniques to develop tone and depth in your work. Set in our pretty, rural studio, alongside other Creative folk in Brownings Farm Workshops. The Wills's Whims studio has a friendly, relaxed atmosphere, to allow creativity to thrive. All materials included, included final canvas painting .Maximum of 5 students: really allowing tutor time with each participant. Class will run even if not full. 10% sibling discount available (please email Kelly for online code). Lunch included from The Cowshed Cafe. Water will be freely available all day.
